This is because I'm using the event device interface from kernel 2.6
since my mouse has so many buttons ;-)
The "Dev Name" is how the mouse registers itself via USB or something
like that...I don't know exactly.
But don't be irritated by this.
I used the "ImPS/2" protocol with my old mouse, and there was also no
acceleration.
