[openbox] I need to disable 3D graphics instructions set

Are you talking about 3D hardware acceleration? Openbox has no influence
over this. As far as I know this can be disabled in the xorg config file, or
by selecting a non-accelerated video driver. It's been many years since I've
had to do this, maybe someone else can provide the details. It will probably
depend on what video hardware you have, which you can discover by running
this:

lspci |grep VGA
