[openbox] maximize over dock

Is there a way to use this to do somewhat of a reverse? I'm running alpha7 
with the Xfce4 panel which sits down the bottom of my screen. Ideally, when 
I hit maximise I'd like the window to take up as much space as possible but 
without covering the panel.
