Do a manual install. Copy all the files over where they belong, and ucc
decompress all the maps and (maybe) textures too. Then extract all the
bins and files for System/ you need out of the installer, usually you
can grab that stuff from /tmp while the installer is running. Its
possible and can be done because I've done it. Once thats done then
install the update patch. If you're experienced then you should know
where everything goes in a ut2004 install. Maybe you can also just copy
over your missing files into /usr/local/games/ut2004 or wherever, all
the critical files should be already installed by the time it gets to
the textures, but it wont hurt to check anyways.
