Suttering sound

    Hi, a friend and I have the same problem. The sound is stutterin 
right after we upgraded ALSA to version 1.0.7, here's the strange thing, 
I am using an emu10k1 based card (SB-Live!) and he is using an nForce2 
sound chip. Why is this problem and is there anyway to prevent 
it/correct it, has anyone else faced this problem?
