[ut2004] UT2004 - Boot up problems

Yeah, got that off IRC too :) but, i've had UT2004 Crash a couple of times,
as in locking up the pc. but i dont get it when i play ut2004 in windows.
What updates / tweaks can i do for UT and UT2004 to improve stability and
performance?
