linux trouble

hello to who reads this
i'm running linux mandrake 9.0 final , with kde 3.03 and when trying to 
run ut2003_demo i get the following problem :

Signal: SIGSEGV [segmentation fault]
Aborting.
i was hoping that anyone could please help me as I don't know what 
should i do to get the game runnig . it only opens the initial dialog 
with the image that says ut 2003 demo , than closes and displays that 
message .
