$ cat /proc/driver/nvidia/agp/status
Status: Enabled
Driver: AGPGART
AGP Rate: 1x
Fast Writes: Enabled
SBA: Disabled
As I said, I had to set a variable in os-registry.c of the NVIDIA_kernel
source (static int NVreg_EnableALiAGP = 1). By the way, I use the nvidia
driver version 1.0-3123. I have to force the AGP rate to 1x in the BIOS,
otherwise X won't even start.
Under Win32, the logfile says AGP is disabled.
I did a few flybys under Linux:
flyby-antalus.sh
10.829952 / 16.560066 / 39.988850 fps rand[1043303418]
Score = 16.566875
flyby-asbestos.sh
7.400313 / 25.939060 / 57.456963 fps rand[1282053515]
Score = 25.955568
This seems a bit low for my system.
This is with the standard settings. I say this because I I don't know
where to change the benchmark settings. My in-game settings are those
generated by default.
And under WinXP:
flyby-antalus.sh
27.009920 / 45.303852 / 143.390854 fps rand[21984]
Score = 45.331013
flyby-asbestos.sh
26.559963 / 63.332687 / 215.978577 fps rand[21893]
Score = 63.361439
Note again that under Windows I don't have AGP.
