[cod] Linux vs. Windows

In all honesty I was guessing a rough figure (hrm +- 5% accuracy heh)
for the sake of the argument, but still we just gave it a try to
reconfirm and I wasn't *too* far off. 12 players produced 4% to 5% CPU
usage (OK, maybe I was off a bit, but that's still pretty low?)
according to the reporting method that I used (top).

Yep been running them since BETA. Just posted a result from a
CS:S although very much better than CS its no where near your
original result unfortunately. My basic rule of thumb is if its
significantly under 1% CPU per player there's usually something
wrong.

For Windows users they are usually quoting % of total CPU i.e.
what is shown by taskman or similar and are on either a dual CPU
machine or a P4 with HT enabled. This can also be done by accident
in linux using top but its less common.

Time for me to crawl under a rock I think....

By the way Steve do you have experience with CS Source or not, just out
of interest?
