AW: [bf1942] 1.4 and disablin mods????

Here's something else I was toying with....

It would be nice to have some type of verification from server to client
that checks the Merciless 1942 mods for authenticity and allows it....

It would be nice to stop the cheats, allow Merciless to work, and have the
server with an off to block all client side mods but the mods MUST all be
compiled RFAs.
It would check the latest version of the MC mod -
Textures.rfa 343498 bytes
Sound.rfa 949340 bytes
Game.rfa 5850 bytes
etc...
Total 84893894 bytes

If the server does not see the exact list of file sizes for the mod and it
match the total .. for all this client to server.... boom.. it fails...
If it matches.. the server will run.. and allow merciless.. and NOT any
other mods or cheats =) This would be an easy way!
Thus the server would have an MOD.txt file... it have all the file sizes
and RFAs of the mod. The client would join and verify the server mod.txt to
the clients actual rfas for that mod loading... any changes and it fails,
any wrong filesizes or date changes.. it fails.

Alot more servers could be running the Merciless or Blood addons based on
simple mod.txt files... verify the clients and no required mod files on the
server. Almost an easy universal standard... food for thought.
