I'd been aiming for a compromise, because the position in the past seems to
have been that the bundled libraries were essential for whatever reason (to be
nice to Windows and other deficient OSs?), but if the current maintainers'
opinions on bundled libraries have changed, an ioquake3 with no bundled
libraries at all would be just as good, if not better.
