Sorry to step in so quickly but I have limited time.. If think the sources
of many mods (eraser included) were available at some point in time (some
porting work was performed by the Q2 team at SUN). Check the following
URL:

If it's of any interest, I'll try to locate the sources from which these
mods were ported by contacting the SUN team (might take a few weeks,
though).
