[openbox] How to shutdown when using Openbox

You could basically just create a script that runs those two commands and
then run that script from an openbox menu or keybinding... I took the
liberty of making an example for you here, includes a pipe menu:

systemctl poweroff/reboot should work assuming you're using a relatively
recent version of Debian, and not Devuan or something that isn't using
systemd. Otherwise you might have to investigate dbus-send ...
