[openbox] confusing focus

OK, nothing to do with openbox. I just tried fvwm, and lo! 2 beautiful
xterms with full black cursors. I'm starting to suspect that I'm using
a bad TERM variable: xterm-256color

I changed to xterm, and we'll see. I can't remember why I had
xterm-256color, anyway.
