Taskbar-like suggestions?

I've been on the list long enough to know that people easily get
offended if you try to change OB.  Rest assured that's not what I'm
asking here.  I love OB just how it is.  It's a great Window Manager. 
I don't want to use any other Window Manager.  Now - that said ...

Does anyone have any suggestions for a minimal pseudo-taskbar?  I'm
not even sure "taskbar" is really what I'm looking for.  Basically I
would just like to have 1 click (or double click) access to my
minimized OB windows.  Something similar to Window Maker would would
be ideal.  Where you don't actually see a task bar, but the windows
just iconify to a configurable part of the screen.  (Top left, bottom
left, top right, bottom right, etc..)

I've been using fbpanel, but ... I dunno ... I just don't care for it.

Also - anyone know of a good dock app for "systray" icons for programs
like gaim and rhytmbox.  wmsystray kinda bites.
