The same here. Alpha7 continuously crashing leaves a trail in 
.xsession-errors, which might be more useful than a coredump:

Openbox-ERROR **: file openbox/client.c: line 815 \

WINDOW_IS_CLIENT(target))
aborting...

I had a look at the code myself and tried a few things out but had no luck.

BTW, is there a possibility to move dock items with another key or mouse 
button than the middle mouse button? I have looked at the configuration 
file and the code itself but no luck, again.
