[openbox] [ANNOUNCE] Openbox 3.0 Release Candidate 4 released

Heya,

There's been a few messages about gnome panel and other such.

Somewhat related to those, I noticed my toolbar's dialog (config, quit, etc) windows are either on top or below everything else (cannot be raised/lowered with clicks) because the _NET_WM_STATE_BELOW seems to be inherited (or something).

Both my toolbar and gkrellm display this. Probably related to the fix for bug #902. If not that, definately somewhere between rc2 and rc4.

One solution mentioned is that the [gnome panel item] should to set _NET_WM_STATE_ABOVE. I guess that's ok for those type of apps, but kinda sucks for normal windows created by them.

Can anything be done about this? :S
