Its looking for a libXft.so, but yours is called libXft2.so. FreeBSD was teh
only other platform to do this until recently, they fixed theirs. I guess
RedHat sits alone, didn't realise they did too.

mv'ing or ln'ing that to libXft.so should fix that problem. I think the
headers should work from what I see.
