2 questions: window decs in OB4_alpha5 and x/y coordinates display

In alpha4, removing the window decorations removed the frame and the
border as well as the title bar.

Is this a change by design for alpha5 or an unexpected result of another
change in the code, or is there a way to control this behaviour?

Also, is there a way to control where the x/y coordinates are displayed
when windows are moved?
