GtkRadiant (svn 2 March 2006) seems to have some problems with some French
characters like é, è, î, ...
As in the Worldspawn entity I have a French text, sometimes there are such
characters.
Each time I select a lump in a level having such characters, I have 4 error
windows per special characters, with this error message:

assertion failure: decode: invalid character: C3

The character code varies: C3, A9, AE, ...

The file I edit is already in UTF8:
$ file hard.map
hard.map: UTF-8 Unicode C++ program text

My system is Ubuntu Breezy (up to date, French).
