Erm did you get something wrong i said 32 bits depth buffer are rest to 16 bit 
this isn t just a claim i have tested this in my engine so don t come with 
your theory we don t use stencil buffer so this can t happen
you don t know how nvidia graphic cards handle this internally

and as said above just try it your self with setting it to 24 bit on a gf card 
and the problem is solved

no offense but i am programming opengl apps for over 2 years now the solution 
is so easy that starting discussion about this is pointless
