(It doesn't work in 1.3.8, but in 1.2.13 it does.)
For lights, when you select them it shows how far they go.  When you change the
fade, the size of the light circles and sphere should change, but they remain
the same.  Changing the "light" key changes the size of the circle, but not the
fade.
