The freelook mode calls are used to compute the cursor movement. We could do
without by caching them, but it's not necessary.

As for the entity inspector position getting stuck, I can't reproduce anymore.
Looks like an issue with corrupted SavedInfo.bin maybe, as we have seen this in
the past. Once you cleanup the prefs and start from scratch again, everything
seems fine.

The prefs system is rewritten in 1.3 to rely exclusively on XML, so if this is
indeed the evasive SavedInfo.bin bug, it won't appear anymore post 1.3
