I always thought it was a feature with gtk, since only the non-gtk radiants 
don't do that, q3r has no problems with it.

w2k, latest directx,  nvidia 5.13.01.2183 on the drivers, but like i said i 
thought it was always like that and did it even since I had a voodoo3, tnt2.

some people reported that it eventually crashed other apps behind it by 
hijacking something but I can never get them to duplicate it; they are usually 
busy trying to figure out how to open their snapshot maps and are in a state of 
panic.

just right click and get the win32 file dialog open for a misc_model.

i just happened to have alot open to take a screenie on an empty map to reply 
to it real quick before it gets buried in the 'it works for me' parts. but 
again, i thought everyone knew it always like that.
