BP no longer prompts for conversion / map load abort like it used to
general rule is to NEVER do any conversions without checking with the user first
it seems the regular -> BP conversions are broken too, didn't check the other way

we want to have BP + regular integrated in .xmap at some point
depends if we will want to have releases of 1.3 series before .xmap new
functionality is finalized. meanwhile, BP conflicts should prompt the user anyway
