[cod] new to linux

I wish we could.  But Top is broken in most versions of Linux.  The gurus here
can explain the technical side better than I can, but most of them don't trust
top.

Why develop a new tool when you can use putty as the cpu monitor. Just login and
type "top" and it will show you the CPU usage!
