[cod] CoD UO Linux Patch F (?)

You know John.. I work in industry, where they
expect Ph. D 's to produce. Worse, I work as a
technology designer on Wall Street, where the
stress is even Worse! Worse than that, I am
on the 60th floor of the largest terrorist target
in NYC still remaining, with a wonderful southern
view of where many of my WTC friends perished.
(The view is not so desirable now).

You are in an academic institution. I recall teaching
as a professor of Mathematics. I don't recall there
ever being a time in academia where I sounded as
stressed out as you do. Relax. Take a breather.
I have been on this list a long while, and you have not
seen me post, as I often only post when I have something
that is often helpful to someone, or insightful to the
many that hang here that run server companies, many
on Linux.

I have followed the Windows vs Linux catharsis, and know
the reality, and know to stay out of that hot bed. However,
I never expected a response such as yours on such a
benign comment on a patch many of us have been waiting
for since day 2 of release, after having waited day by day
here for 2 months or so prior to release of UO. Are things
that stressed at GATech?

Perhaps, I should make a few calls and reach out to some
of my friends there in the computer Engineering and Sciences
group and see why the work place is so hostile.

BTW, is COD:UO on the supported software list at GA Tech
these days? Boy, the curriculum has gotten tougher since I
did my dissertation. We only had Diskless IBMPC's on Arcnet
back then. Must be my mid-life 40 age.... ;-) Relax.

Dr. D
