Become more portable... Part II
Alright, so I checked a few things out and I found that for my own purpose I would probably be best off getting a much, much smaller machine. I like this laptop a lot. Maybe so much that I barely want to abuse it. So I decided to go with an older ThinkCentre M72e. I can upgrade that beast to 16 GB of RAM and use it for pretty solid workloads. It should survive that much. For a 5 year old refurbished machine I would expect it to at least handle that much. You have to imagine those things need to be built like tanks in order to survive the environments they are in... crammed office spaces. You know how bad that usually goes.
Anyway, it should arrive sometime next week or the week after. For some reason it takes 3-17 days to ship something from Ontario to Mantioba. Go figure.
