Can't run client in linux

My paths to libGL.so.1 library is different. I can't imagine thats a problem.
I dont have a libGLcore.so..... but a libGLcore.a
What is this linking to? Is this GTK? What version should I have on my
system?
BTW, I'm running Mandrake 9.1
