[ut2004] error when starting

it could also be that ut2003 and most likely ut2004 use s3tc (Savage
Texture compression) Ive heard about problems with the radeon cards. You
could try downloading the demo of ut2003 and seeing if that works. but
those glxgears numbers are way low so i also do not believe 3d rendering
is enabled, but since i do not have one these cards im not sure :) just
my .2 cents
