Hmmmmmm.
I have KDE running with "enable sound system" checked.
When I run xmms with also sound out plugin, xmms grabs all the sound: echo
"hello" > /dev/speech doesn't play until I stop xmms. If I have the
control panel open and click check sound, I don't hear anything until I
stop xmms.
I have motherboard sound from an Nforce2 motherboard. These modules are
loaded and I have alsasound.
