heh. i did actually intend it as a "what if" hypothetical situation. i
don't know of any games where this was/is possible, it's just an
extraneous circumstance that may have added to the decision to remove
the feature with weapon-stay on.

i dunno. if you use the mouse wheel, you might want to be really hard
core and throw a weapon or two to get faster changing to a specific
weapon, but the amount of extra attention you'd need to apply is
excessive, so i doubt it's really a tactic that you can really use to a
major advantage, and hotkeys work better anyway.
