[ut2003io] VMware and UT2003

Fred,

While this is probably best left to the epic guys here goes my thoughts:

Run with --nosound to get around not having /dev/dsp set up.

Getting around your sound problem is academic, however, since VMWare
does not have the capability needed to run the demo. Where it spits out
an error (no GLX) it is because UT2003 needs direct access to your video
hardware, which the drivers, nor VMWare can provide (since these are
emulated).

This leads to the obvious question...Why the hell would you want to do
that? just play the game under windows, since you have it installed. Or
install Mandrake 9.0 (or whatever) on its own drive/partition, if you
feel like experimenting with UT2003 under Linux.

Regards,

Leith
