This looks like the VM compiler doesn't properly set memory pages with the JIT 
code to be executable and your OS is configured with NX protection. I don't 
own a MAC or anything, so some mac guy should have a look at this. (tjw?) ... 
MakeDataExecutable() appears in there but I don't know what it really does. 
Isn't there a mmap on Macs, too?
