[pyddr-discuss] Help ... Pyddr 0.7.0 for Mac OS X

Pleae keep in mind there is no such thing as building pyDDR. There is no 
compiling python code as far as the user is concerned.

These are makeshift directions, and they are not the "proper" way to install 
it, but they will work.

Download the pyDDR 0.6.2 mac package. Install it.

Download the pyDDR 0.7.0 tarball. Untar it. Put the folder somewhere that 
you would know how to get to it from a Terminal window.

Open pyddr.py from the 0.6.2 package in TextEdit (or whatever you want to 
use). Select the top line and copy it, which will be something like:

#!/Library/Frameworks/Python/versions/2.3/bin/python

Open pyddr.py from the 0.7.0 package in TextEdit and replace the top line of 
  it with the one you copied from 0.6.2.

Open a terminal window.

Change your directory to where-ever you put pyDDR 0.7.0.

Type:

./pyddr.py
