pyDDR for OS X

I downloaded something off your site that gave me the
dwi2step program (which does not come in the pyddr
.zip file for Mac). Could you please explain how to
use it? If I run it in Python (which is probably not
what I'm supposed to do) it opens up Pygame and then
it pauses until I have to force quit out of it. Also,
what program can I use to make .step files? I've made
them in Textedit, but it saves as a text file and not
a document. Please reply back, as much of this would
be of great help to me.
