OK. So the server seems to be up, you just can't access it
from inside nor outside. Suppose that the .cfg setup is
right, so that the server is accepting players.

What did you choose under RedHat8 installation on your
firewall setup? If you choose to activate the firewall and
to allow just what you marked there, your machine is not
accepting any other type of inbound traffic, just outbound
and what comes as a response to it.

I don't remember where these settings are saved, but you
should try to find it and add the "quake-port" 12203 in
the list of ports for allowed incoming traffic, protocol udp.
