We discussed this the other day, but I'll give a couple comments here
here:

BSD Gamers play linux games. It would be really nice if the people on
the ut2k3 mailing list could have some kind of reference they could
use. Anything on a BSD-specific FAQ would have so much overlap with
stuff on the lgfaq that it would make the two documents completely
annoying to have to deal with.

BSD Gamers also have nothing at the moment, and this is offering them
something. I won't maintain a separate faq, where I answer all the
same questions as I do on this one.

Actually, read my .plan. You mess with td.o, which is fine. It's your
website. Changing the word "ass" to "nose" is something that's clearly
been edited, and I can see how you think it's "making with the funnay".

In this case, though, you did it in a personally abusive way that
actually put me out. I made a comment about loki_setup, you made a
comment about loki_setup. I made a comment, and you changed it to be
exactly the opposite of what I'd said, while making it appear that it
still came from me. Putting the word playdoh on the end is effectively
the same as changing "ass" to "nose", it still seemed that the rest of
it had come from me.

If you'd merely edited this so that it was "more funnay" as you claim
were you reasons, making me say the opposite of what I said without
changing anything else was not "more funnay"

All of which is also something that should be discussed someplace else
because this is the lgfaq mailing list. Unless this conversation is
part of judging my trustworthyness.

I repeat. I have NEVER, EVER, edited or removed ANY post on ANY forum,
ANYWHERE, EVER. I will not speak for Greg, but his "fucking" with
td.o, I believe, was removing the post that I found offensive, as a
favor to me.

Actually, I believe at this point that /you/ are "fucking" with this
project in a wholly unacceptable and out-of-line fashion. I feel that
I have contributed a non-trivial amount of work in the past and
removing my cvs access and name from the credits is not acceptable in
any public place. [although CVS access has not yet been removed, you
told me it would be a few minutes ago]

To be honest, also, a thought:

It is my belief that the ownership/head maintainer of this project should
be changed

Gary
