Most, if not all, ASE models show up with the blue "Shader Not Found" texture. The cause appears to be the incorrect use of the *MATERIAL_NAME attribute in the ASE file to specify the Doom 3 shader, when in fact it is the *BITMAP line that should be used. This is owing to the abstraction provided by PicoSurface (plugins/model.cpp) which makes no distinction between ASE and LWO (the latter of which does indeed use the material name to specify the Doom 3 shader).

Cause of Error:
Insert an ASE model into a map, making sure that the model has a correct texture which shows up in Doom 3. Note that the shader does not show in the Camera view in GtkRadiant.
