Yeah that's sort of what I'm saying. I don't think Shod is subscribed to
this mailing list though. This is typically legacy behaviour, but I don't
see how we could tweak this behaviour either. Adding some kind of ability
to only work on texture settings, only work on texture names etc., coupled
with some tri-state for the items .. a lot of work with the UI, doesn't
sound very realistic anyway.
