Patch: Build issues on fedora 9

Fedora 9 fails to build SVN version 4621 as various
numeric limit values are not defined (e.g. INT_MAX).
This is to be expected for c++ as it should be using
std::numeric_limits for such values. Changing these
fixed the build problems. Patch attached; SVN Info
below.

As a side note fedora 9 uses gcc 4.3.0 which emits
large quantities of "warning: deprecated conversion
from string constant to ‘char*’" warnings.
particularly in parse/"ess" "eee" "ex" "p".cpp
(worried about filters).
