total conversions?

OK, my 2nd n00b question:

What "total conversions" are available, and will they run with the Linux
client project?

I found the Babylon Project... while I'm not a huge fan of B5, it does
look like they've done an impressive amount of work on modelling and such.

Are there any other Freespace2 Total Conversions? My goal is to be able to
let people at a LAN party download & play Freespace2 (legally), which if I
understand correctly, like Quake or Quake2, the engine is release under a
free license, but the media is not.
