"Just announced at Gamescom, Modern Warfare 3 on PC will support
dedicated servers. Host them where you want, control settings and
standard matchmaking, just like MW1. Follow @fourzerotwo on Twitter for
updates/info."

"Now, after listening to players, IW and Sledgehammer will try the first
method again. Modern Warfare 3 <http://www.callofduty.com/mw3> will
feature free, run-it-yourself COD4-style dedicated server support
because the hardcore fans have been very clear (if not terribly polite)
in their feedback."

Shame EA is stuck on the no server files policy. Would have been nice to
have unranked server files like BF2 again. Least Activision / IW has
learned their lesson.
