- *Call of Duty 4 server 1.7...* (posted 2008-06-30 23:36:32 by *icculus*
):
A new patch for Call of Duty 4 <http://callofduty.com/> is now available.
This patch makes the Linux server compatible with 1.7 clients.
This patch can be used to create a new server (if you supply the retail
data files) or patch an existing server to 1.7.
You can grab the Linux-specific bits (including a README file with all
the pertinent info) from one of the following mirrors:

There's a mailing list for COD4 server admins. Send a blank email to

to
get on the list.
Bug reports go here <https://bugzilla.icculus.org/>, and not to the
mailing list.
If you have a mirror you want listed here, drop me a
line<icculus at icculus.org?subject=COD4%201.7%20dedicated%20server%20mirror>.
We only list mirrors that don't require registration to use and have a
mimetype set up for .bz2 files.
