[cod] No Patch - No Servers???

Personally I will stick with COD4 --- I think they screwed everything up
with COD WAW.

I never got into COD until they came out with 4 --- I like the modern
warfare scenario and I was happy they released it with some Linux Binaries.
( even though we had to wait ) I was just happy to have them.

When they come out with the NEW COD Modern Warfare - We will see just how
dedicated they are to the linux servers. 

We can hope and pray.

COD4 is now in the stage of Modification - Because as you stated it can get
old rather fast just playing the same way every day.

So we will see some great new mods coming out in addition to those that have
already been released.

I gave up at COD4.  It was fun at first, but got old rather quickly.  This
series has outlived it's shelf life and it seems more and more that if a
game has the infamous games for windows on the top front cover there will be
no linux binaries, and it is going to be a port of the console game.  In the
meantime my clan has moved on to other games while waiting for the release
of the binaries.  Guess what there are some great games out there that have
linux binaries from the beginning, and they allow you to download the entire
server package without having to upload large amounts of files.

I only run nix boxes. and am too lazy to w(h)ine it.  Son no servers here
till trey gets it together, which will be never. it's like it is abandon
ware already lmfao
