Supposed to be ..yes.

In order to play custom maps on Linux you have to do the workaround on the
server (same as 1.3).

custommap.iwd's in the mods/yourmod folder (also on redirect)
And a copy of the localized_mp_custommap.ff in the zone/English directory on
the server.

Works a treat

But:

Needless to say that 1: you must have access to this zone/English folder
And 2 this creates havoc with clients as windows servers now should place
the custommap.iwd's in the corresponding usermaps/custommap folder as it
should be.
They will end up with a iwd in the custommaps folder and in their modfolder

Hi Guys,

Linux bins are reading localized files @ the wrong folder, should be in
usermaps and not in zone folder L

Loading fastfile localized_mp_ambush
********************
ERROR: ERROR: Could not find zone
/home/CoDWaW/zone/english/localized_mp_ambush.ff'

I hope Ryan can and may fix this soon with a hotfix. What did Q&A test, only
the new maps I suppose?
We still can’t play custom maps on our linux server without wine.

hi u guys had a question
gettin the feet wet with installing mods
stumped on fs_localappdata path

I am running codwaw on a ubuntu box with no wine and my file path is to the
effect of /home/tom/desktop/cod5serverpb/
( i placed the raw data files in a file named cod5serverpb) and have created
a file named mods within the file named data straight from the codwaw dvd.
if u guys can give me a idea what this localappdata path would look like and
do i type it in terminal before i start a map or after

any help would be appreciated
tom
