[cod] Patch 1.2 requires glibc 2.3 OMG!!!

Steve,

Is there a chance that the extractor script for the
'small' upgrade patch is what requires glibc 2.3 and not
the actual updated binaries? I was able to use the large
patch, which is just a tarball of the updated .pk3 files
and binaries.
