to commence the map rotation in linux, it's just ./cod_lnxded +map_rotate,
with no "set" at all. i.e. +set map_rotate will prolly do something funky.
i'm sure you knew this John and it was prolly a mistake; i just wanted to
bring it to y'all's attention. and yes, i'm from the south =P

Change map_rotate to the first map in your rotation like:
map mp_harbor
Linux is funny in that map_rotate will only work on the command line. Add
it to the end like +set map_rotate.
That will fix it and you won't have any more problems.

pages.lol. I have no idea of what to look for. I did a search on the word
"error" but there were no hits.

No worries.
Have you checked the log files?
What does a typical crash look like? Size of server?
Provide as much info as you can about your configurations and it will be
easier to help you ;0)

What kind of game server are you running? Linux or Windows?

It seems that my CoD games tend to crash a lot. Is this a known
problem, and if so, is there anything I can do to minimize the problem?
Thanks.
