v1.1 setup but can't connect

Hi all

This is my first post and this question has probably been answered a thousad
times before but i have just setup a linux server v1.1 and it's up and
running but when people try to connect to it (it's a local server) it says
awaiting cd key authenitcation, has anyone had this problem and could point
me in the right direction i have looked through google but i can't find
anyone with the same problem.
