What to expect when new patch comes out.

There's all this stuff going around about a new patch coming out soon for
cod. But how does this impending patch apply to the linux dedicated server
binary?

Will a new linux dedicated binary come out at the same time?
If not, will newly patched cod clients be able to connect to linux dedicated
version 1.1?  
Or will there be a patch that can be applied to already installed linux
servers?

Just wanted to set my expectations correctly, mahalo,
